Over in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, the game takes a darker turn with the introduction of the Emperor’s Children. Once loyal to the Imperium, they defected during the Horus Heresy and now pledge allegiance to Slaanesh, embracing excess, pain, and the pursuit of the ultimate thrill.
This new faction introduces three formidable warlords: Lord Kaphrael, who excels at eliminating enemy champions and leads the Callous Blades warband; Xarahan, characterized by his arrogance; and Lucius the Eternal, renowned for his centuries of dueling expertise.
The mechanics of the Emperor’s Children are as twisted as their lore. Cards marked with Ecstasy activate effects when their health reaches a critical point. Cruelty rewards you for damaging enemies without finishing them off, while Stimulation is triggered when a unit becomes the target of a stratagem.
