Nearly three decades after Paul W.S. Anderson's "Event Horizon" captivated audiences, the iconic sci-fi horror film is set to expand its universe with a gripping prequel. IDW Publishing has announced "Event Horizon: Dark Descent," a five-issue comic book series that delves into the chilling events preceding the movie and uncovers the harrowing fate of the original Event Horizon crew.
Penned by Christian Ward, known for his work on "Batman: City of Madness," and illustrated by Tristan Jones of "Aliens: Defiance" fame, "Dark Descent" promises a visually stunning and terrifying experience. The series will feature colors by Pip Martin and an array of striking cover art by Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
