How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
E.R.P.O. is constantly evolving with new monsters being added, so bookmarking this page is a smart move to stay updated. Below, you'll find detailed guides on each monster, along with general combat strategies:
Melee Combat: From Machetes to Hammers, these weapons can be purchased at the in-game shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and swung at monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run approach is advisable to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: These can be found in the shop as well. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw or place it on the ground; it will explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly hurting the tougher ones. Mines require you to place them strategically and wait for a monster to trigger them.
Monster Brawl: You can manipulate the environment to your advantage. For instance, bait a Huntsman into shooting another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise, either by walking or using Voice chat mode. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations to cause mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

Robe, the shadowy ghost, is best avoided or kited around due to its high damage upon contact. Crouching can help you hide from it. Alternatively, you can lure Robe into a trap with 2 Grenades or 2 Mines. Melee combat is not recommended as Robe inflicts significant damage and teleports unpredictably, especially when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, resembling a raggedy doll with sword-like arms, spins to deal melee damage. While it can be kited like Robe, it's less threatening and more susceptible to melee attacks. A single grenade paired with a few melee hits will take it down, and both grenades and mines can stun it, making it easier to finish off.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile unless provoked by grabbing them or causing them harm. When enraged, they'll chase and peck at you, albeit for low damage. Outrunning them or using melee weapons is the most effective way to deal with them. Grenades are overkill given their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound to locate you, so remain silent and crouch to avoid detection. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, use mines to lure him into a trap or throw a grenade while crouched; the explosion will temporarily deafen him, allowing you to close in for the kill with melee weapons.
