The Path of Exile 2 development team has rolled out a major update, version 0.1.1c, bringing a wave of fixes and improvements to enhance gameplay stability and player experience.
Key updates include:
- Fixed an issue that could result in losing access to the Cartwalker Machine when transferring a character from the solo league.
- Resolved multiple bugs in local cooperative mode, including one that allowed Player 2 to unlock UI elements such as high-level maps belonging to Player 1.
- Addressed a movement-related bug in local co-op that prevented Player 2 from swiftly navigating between control points.
New revival mechanics have been introduced to improve progression through challenging content:
- Up to five revival attempts are now available in the Distorted Possessions area, scaling with difficulty.
- The battle against Olroth, the Source of the Fall, now grants up to five revives based on difficulty settings.
- In the Essence of Nonexistence realm, players receive up to five revival attempts. If defeated before defeating the Host in The Mists, players will be revived within the boss arena and the encounter will reset.
In addition to gameplay refinements, Grinding Gear Games has introduced a long-requested quality-of-life feature: the ability to rename characters directly through the official website.
Despite initial launch challenges, Path of Exile 2 continues to dominate the Steam charts, reflecting strong community engagement. The developers remain committed to refining the experience, ensuring the game evolves to meet player expectations.
