In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Skill Points are crucial for unlocking new skills across various skill trees, enhancing your combat effectiveness and access to new Battle Arts, regardless of your rank. As you progress, individual skills can become quite costly, especially early on, which makes engaging with the game's side content essential for boosting your strength and readiness for battles at any difficulty level. Here are some efficient strategies for farming Skill Points beyond just completing main battles.
How To Farm Skill Points Fast In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Earning Skill Points in Dynasty Warriors: Origins is straightforward: you receive three Skill Points for every 100 enemies you defeat. While main battles involve defeating many enemies, they aren't ideal for grinding Skill Points due to their win conditions that require focusing on officers. A better approach is to explore the overworld and participate in Skirmishes.
In a Skirmish, prioritize mowing down the endless waves of enemies rather than targeting officers. Since Skirmishes have no loss conditions other than your character's death, you can keep the battle going by continuously defeating enemies. Aim to reach 100 kills every minute or so, depending on the enemy spawn rate of the Skirmish.
Continue fighting in the same Skirmish until your health runs low, then save just enough energy to take down the final officer to win the battle. This not only grants you bonus Skill Points for winning but can help you accumulate up to 50 Skill Points in just a few minutes. To maximize this method, consider the following tips:
- Use a spear, as it's highly effective against waves of weaker enemies.
- Equip a Wellspring Gem to automatically restore your health after every 100 enemies killed.
- An Oblivion Gem can be a great secondary choice to increase your enemy kill rate.
Other Ways To Get Skill Points In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
In addition to Skirmishes, you can earn Skill Points by completing Training objectives. As you advance through the main storyline and encounter new characters, some will offer Training objectives in the overworld. These objectives are often easy to complete and can be done during any battle, providing an additional source of Skill Points. Make it a habit to interact with these characters whenever you encounter them to take advantage of these opportunities.
