Torchlight: Infinite’s highly anticipated eighth season, Sandlord, is now live—and it's the most ambitious update to date. This massive new season shifts the game into uncharted territory, challenging players to build and manage a floating empire high above the world below.
What’s New in Torchlight: Infinite Season 8 – Sandlord?
At the heart of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a brand-new city that you control. It’s your base of operations, where you’ll gather valuable resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible gains by assigning workers across five distinct professions.
This innovative system unlocks fresh trade routes, powerful bonuses, and exclusive seasonal rewards. For the first time, Torchlight: Infinite blends fast-paced ARPG combat with strategic city-building mechanics—offering a gameplay experience like never before.
Say goodbye to the familiar. Thea has undergone a dramatic transformation. No longer a divine channeler, she now embodies darkness as the Blasphemer. Instead of bestowing blessings, she unleashes Erosion Damage—a deadly effect that intensifies the longer it remains active.
The Deep Space zone has also received a major overhaul. Five brand-new stages have been added, packed with dangerous monsters and intense survival challenges designed to test your endurance and skill.
Introducing Probes, a new equipment type that functions similarly to Compasses but occupies its own gear slot. These handy tools boost both your reward yield and encounter difficulty—perfect for players seeking greater risk and higher payoff.
New Stages and Unique Zones
Endgame content expands with several all-new Legendary Stages. Though rare, they offer dynamic loot setups that can completely reshape your playstyle and strategy.
Some zones break the mold entirely. The Abyssal Vault defies expectations by featuring no enemies whatsoever—only stacks of Mystery Chests just waiting to be opened.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites throws goblin hordes at you. While these creatures won’t attack, defeating them may trigger the appearance of a hidden boss.
Then there’s Supreme Showdown, where both you and enemy bosses share access to the Golden Gaze mechanic. Land the perfect strike and watch your foes turn into treasure on the battlefield.
As an added bonus, Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary with this release. You can download the game directly from the Google Play Store and jump straight into the action-packed Season 8: Sandlord.
