Jasmine’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After welcoming Jasmine to Dreamlight Valley and settling her in Agrabah, foster your friendship by chatting daily and showering her with gifts. Reaching Friendship Level 2 unlocks her first quest, “The Enchanted Flower,” launching her captivating storyline.
The Enchanted Flower (Level 2 Friendship)
Begin “The Enchanted Flower” by selecting the quest from Jasmine’s interaction menu. Unravel the mystery of a cryptic note found in her home—a note she doesn't recognize but holds instructions for creating Enchanted Pots of Blooming. Merlin, our magical mentor, holds the key to understanding these enchanted pots, revealing that they cultivate a flower concealing a secret. The seeds are hidden in the Dreamlight Library.
Retrieve the seeds from the library’s table, then give them to Jasmine. Her memories stir, hinting at a precious item needing protection.
Next, gather three daisies (any color) and two rising penstemons (any color) to craft three Enchanted Pots of Blooming. Each pot demands 15 Soil and 5 Dream Shards (a total of 45 Soil and 15 Dream Shards).
Present the pots to Jasmine. Inside her house, she guides you in arranging the daisies and penstemons—a daisy needs sunlight, while the penstemon thrives in shade. The placement reveals a blooming Enchanted Flower, guarding a locked diary. This diary holds two locks, and Jasmine promises to decipher the script, setting the stage for the next chapter.
A Sandy Competition (Level 4 Friendship)
Jasmine’s investigation reveals Sea Sand Sparks—a crucial ingredient for crafting a key to unlock the diary. Moana offers the solution: a Sea Sand Torch, crafted using:
- 5 Softwood
- 5 Fiber
- 3 Sand
- 1 Aquamarine
Place the torch on Dazzle Beach. Jasmine will then collect the Sea Sand Sparks, leading to the next quest item: a Special Starfish.
Maui possesses this rare starfish, but only if you best him in a competition of your choice. After a friendly discussion, a Sandcastle Competition is decided upon.
Craft a Sandcastle Kit using the following materials (note: crafting these items later requires fewer materials):

Craft the Beach Key using the Sea Sand Sparks and Special Starfish. Unlock the first lock on the diary, revealing it to be your childhood diary, safely kept by Jasmine.
Hot and Cold (Level 7 Friendship)
Jasmine’s discovery of a seashell engraving on the diary’s first lock leads to the second lock—a snowflake symbol. Elsa’s knowledge of unbreakable ice and a recently appeared chest in her cave provides the next clue.
Photograph the sun and snowflake symbols on pedestals in Elsa’s cave, then locate and photograph matching symbols in the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights respectively.
Sun Symbol Locations: Sunlit Plateau (on rocks near the entrance, in Scar’s alcove, on a tall rock near Forgotten Lands entrance, near a pond, and near Forgotten Lands entrance).
Snowflake Symbol Locations: Frosted Heights (on a wall behind Elsa’s cave, on a rock behind Elsa’s cave, on a wall by Olaf’s cave, on a tall rock by Olaf’s cave, and on rocks near the Forest of Valor).
The ice melts, revealing the chest containing the Ice Key. Use the Ice Key on the second lock; the journal falls out. Give it to Jasmine, concluding the quest. The Enchanted Flower is missing! Find it in Mother Gothel's house, return it, and unlock the diary.
