This single-player shop management game puts you in the shoes of a card shop owner, where even the simplest transaction can become an adventure. Originally released on PC in February 2022, this title from Henry's House, Oscar Brittain, and Rob Gross (published by Akupara Games) has now made its way to consoles and mobile devices, exclusively available for free to Crunchyroll members.

Step into the shoes of Harry Hsu, inheriting his father's card shop—a legacy built on a love of collecting and a championship win in the legendary card game, Warlock. As the new shopkeeper, you'll navigate the exciting world of buying, selling, and trading cards.
You won't be alone in this endeavor. Giuseppe, a fast-talking, card-savvy cockatoo, becomes your trusted business partner, possessing an uncanny ability to spot a great deal. Together, you'll run your seaside card shop, striving to satisfy every customer (or, if you're feeling mischievous, maybe even pull a fast one for extra profit!).
Expect charming characters brimming with sarcasm and clever references to other card games and anime. Over 100 unique cards boast quirky illustrations, including shiny variants, adding depth and visual appeal to your collection.
Gameplay: More Than Just Buy Low, Sell High
While the core concept is simple—buy low, sell high—the gameplay evolves beyond this basic principle. Card conditions and set rarities fluctuate, impacting value alongside factors like foil finishes and ability popularity.
Kardboard Kings also features a roguelite deck-building mode on Card Game Island, where you'll face off against skilled duelists. You can also host tournaments, throw booster pack parties, or even hold clearance sales to manage your inventory.
