Today marks a significant milestone for fans of Crashlands 2, as Butterscotch Shenanigans has released a major update, version 1.1. This update is packed with exciting new features and improvements that respond directly to player feedback from the original Crashlands game.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
One of the highlights of Update 1.1 is the introduction of Legend Mode, offering a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. On the planet Woanope, enemies are now faster, more powerful, and boast increased health points. Conversely, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile, adding a layer of strategic challenge to your adventures. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode is now available. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on activities such as farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing without the fear of constant attacks. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the game's narrative, decorate your base, and interact with the quirky characters that populate Crashlands 2.
A much-anticipated feature, The Compendium, makes its return in Update 1.1. This comprehensive catalog tracks all of Flux's discoveries, including pets, recipes, and items, helping players keep tabs on what they need to collect to reach their goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With the release of Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are now more than just companions; they actively participate in battles, each bringing a unique special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This enhancement makes pets a valuable asset in combat scenarios.
The update also revamps gear crafting, introducing random bonus stats on armor, along with a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets. This adds a fresh layer of customization and strategy to the game.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout Update 1.1, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Players can now build on a wider range of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night, making the game more enjoyable and personalized.
Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. Launched on April 10th, this latest patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.
