The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: Minccino and Cinccino in stylish outfits!
When to Catch Costumed Minccino:
The Fashion Week event, featuring costumed Minccino and Cinccino, ran from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These fashionable Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Shiny Costume Minccino was available, but a Shiny Costume Cinccino was not. Other costumed Pokémon returning for the event included Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Acquire Costume Minccino:
Unlike previous events, obtaining the costumed Minccino was limited. Players could find it in two ways:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino appeared in easily soloable One-Star Raids. However, One-Star Raids also featured Costume Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) Paid Timed Research ticket offered guaranteed encounters with Costume Minccino, alongside XP, Stardust, and a new avatar pose.
Field Research:
While event-themed Pokémon encounters were available through Field Research Tasks, Niantic didn't specify if Minccino was included. Free-to-play players likely encountered other costumed Pokémon instead.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino:
To get a Costume Cinccino, players needed to evolve a Costume Minccino using 50 Minccino Candy and a Unova Stone.
