To begin "Under the Straw Hat," you first need to initiate the "In Vino Veritas" quest. Upon arriving in Kuttenberg, head to the west side of the city where Casper Rudolf is offering free wine samples. He needs your help to gather information to enhance his wine. You have two paths to proceed:
- Direct Approach: Go straight to Havel and impress him with your wine knowledge. Ensure you're dressed in fancy clothes and are clean. When conversing with Havel, select "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger" as your responses to extract the necessary information. Return to Casper with your findings.
- Alternative Route: Retrieve Casper's book from Adleta and study it to gain more wine knowledge before approaching Havel.
Access the Vineyard

Next, Casper tasks you with infiltrating the vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn more about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid wandering into the fields to prevent trespassing charges. Instead, follow the main road into the vineyard and speak with the recruiter, who will initiate the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Continue along the road, pass the guard at the estate entrance, and find Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report there, and he'll provide you with details about working at the vineyard.
Working at the Vineyard

Your job at the vineyard starts the following day. After resting at an inn or your chosen lodging, return to the vineyard in the morning. You can either perform your assigned tasks, such as moving sacks and picking Thistle around the vines, to earn payment, or head directly to the wine cellar to find the secret incense.
The wine cellar is located in the main building, downstairs from where you met Jerome. Accessing it requires either a lockpick or stealing the keys from Jerome. Inside the cellar, locate a chest and take all the Sulphur Wicks to complete the main objective. For an increased reward, you can also collect seedlings for Casper. From the main building's entrance, head straight across to find the seedlings, but be quick as this area is off-limits to workers.
If you choose to work, report to Jerome at the end of the day to receive your pay. Otherwise, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and, if collected, the seedlings.
Completing these steps will successfully finish both the "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, allowing you to progress to other side quests like "Master Schindel’s Toys."
