Dive into the festive spirit with the Lunar New Year 2025 event, running from now until February 2 at 08:00 PM local time. This event celebrates the Year of the Snake, increasing the spawn rates of snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans. Here's the complete list of Pokémon with boosted encounter rates, as confirmed in the Lunar New Year announcement:

- Snivy (Shiny can be found)
- Darumaka (Shiny can be found)

From 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM on February 3, you can challenge Dynamax Moltres as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots. After the initial hour, Dynamax Moltres will remain available until February 9, though it will appear at fewer Power Spots due to the presence of Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble as Max Battle bosses until February 10. Finding Moltres might require some exploration, but you'll have ample time to hunt down this legendary firebird.
Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

On Sunday, February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, join the dual Community Day for Karrablast & Shelmet. This event not only boosts encounters for these Pokémon, enabling you to farm their Candies, but also offers evolution bonuses and increased Shiny rates. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM will grant you an Escavalier knowing Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively.
