Unlocking the Floyd fight requires completing ten out of thirty-seven randomized challenges in a single session. These challenges vary, demanding specific characters, Kameos, or even strategic losses under certain conditions. A community-created spreadsheet provides a comprehensive challenge list and helpful tips. Note that the ten challenges required are randomly selected each session; there's no cherry-picking the easiest ones. Floyd himself may occasionally offer a cryptic hint during gameplay, though this is infrequent. Fortunately, most challenges are manageable on easy difficulty or in two-player PvP using two controllers.
Successfully completing ten challenges grants three attempts to defeat Floyd. Failure means restarting the challenge process with a new set of ten randomized tasks.
