Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd
HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.6 update, "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a bustling campus atmosphere.
New Character: Rappa
The highlight is the introduction of Rappa, a 5-star Galaxy Ranger who identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and rap. Rappa's quest involves hunting down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.
Version 2.6 Events
- Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Players manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa for a spectacular performance.
- Warp Event: Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine return in the warp event during both halves of the update.
Simulated Universe Expansion
The Simulated Universe receives a significant expansion in version 2.6, surpassing the scale of previous additions like Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. The third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts involving scholars and the powerful Scepter system – an advanced external thinking unit. Players will gather Scepters, upgrade them with Components, and create synergistic strategies to defeat a challenging final boss.
