Marcin Blacha, the Vice President and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has underscored the need for an "exceptional team" for Project Hadar. This ambitious project is now calling out to skilled developers to fill open roles and play a pivotal role in shaping its development. Project Hadar stands apart from CD Projekt Red's previous works, such as The Witcher series, which was inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, which originated from a tabletop RPG. It introduces players to a completely new universe crafted by CD Projekt. While details are still under wraps, it's confirmed that Project Hadar won't delve into space horror themes. Initially, the project was managed by a small team of about twenty, but it has now expanded its recruitment efforts.

Currently, the Hadar team is actively seeking professionals to fill crucial roles including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiasm from top developers, who describe working on Project Hadar as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests that the project has moved beyond its initial conceptual stages into full-scale production.
CD Projekt Red is simultaneously managing multiple projects. The largest team is dedicated to Project Polaris, marking the beginning of a new Witcher trilogy that will focus on Ciri. Alongside, two other teams are working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another game set in The Witcher universe, showcasing the studio's commitment to expanding its iconic franchises while venturing into fresh territories with Project Hadar.
