Marvel Snap's Legacy Season: Sam Wilson Takes the Shield!
This month's Marvel Snap season focuses on legacy, introducing Sam Wilson as the new Captain America and shaking up gameplay. New characters, locations, and collectibles are also in the mix!
Sam Wilson, the New Captain America:
Sam Wilson's arrival brings a unique mechanic. His card starts each match with Captain America's Shield randomly placed on the board. This indestructible Shield can be moved, and each time it lands in Sam's location, his power increases by +2.
New Characters Join the Fray:
February sees a wave of new characters:
- Joaquín Torres: Arrives February 4th.
- Iron Patriot & Thaddeus Ross: Join the game on February 11th.
- Redwing: Debuts February 18th.
- Diamondback: Arrives February 25th.
These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache.
Strategic Location Overhauls:
Two new locations add depth to strategic deckbuilding:
- Smithsonian Museum: Provides an extra +1 Power to each Ongoing card.
- Madripoor: Boosts the highest-cost card at that location by +2 Power after each turn.
