While *Avowed*'s Living Lands feel vast, the main quest is surprisingly concise. Curious about what awaits after the credits roll? Let's explore the post-game experience.
Does *Avowed* Have New Game Plus?
Many RPG fans relish replaying the main quest on higher difficulties, wielding acquired skills and gear. Unfortunately, Avowed currently lacks a New Game Plus mode at launch. However, given player demand, Obsidian may add this feature via a future update or DLC.
Even without New Game Plus, replayability exists. Avowed's branching narrative and diverse character builds encourage multiple playthroughs to explore different endings and playstyles.
Does *Avowed* Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four main regions, a secret final area, and a return to a major city (details withheld to avoid spoilers). Legendary-quality weapons and gear become crucial in these challenging endgame areas. However, these late-game encounters don't affect earlier regions, nor do they unlock new ones. The inability to revisit the Living Lands, shaped by your choices, is a notable omission.
What You Can Do After Beating *Avowed*
Avowed's post-game is relatively limited due to the absence of New Game Plus and endgame content. After the final encounter, you'll watch several minutes of cutscenes detailing the consequences of your choices. Then, it's back to the main menu.
From there, you can start a new game or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available before the point of no return and the final encounter, allowing for replaying sections and exploring alternate story outcomes.
Reloading to a pre-point-of-no-return save lets you revisit earlier regions. Clean up the map, complete missed side quests, collect unfound items, and enjoy the satisfying power of Legendary-quality gear against lower-level enemies.
Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
