Albion Online, the immersive medieval fantasy MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, is set to launch its highly anticipated update, Rogue Frontier, on February 3rd. This update promises to bring a wealth of new content and features to the game, enhancing the experience for players in the year's first major update.
What's Happening in the Outlands?
The Rogue Frontier update focuses on The Smugglers, a group of rebels defying the Royal Continent's stringent regulations. They've established themselves in the Outlands, setting up secret underground hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as crucial hubs for banking, repairs, and planning your next adventure. Connected through the Smuggler’s Network, these marketplaces facilitate trade across the Outlands.
The Smugglers have formed their own Faction and are embroiled in ongoing conflicts with the Royal Guards. Players can assist them in various missions, such as rescuing captured Smugglers or smuggling contraband hidden in Smuggler Crates.
Loyalty Has Its Perks in the Rogue Frontier Update of Albion Online
In the Smuggler's Dens, you'll encounter Maggy Slade, a dubious trader who rewards players for their loyalty. Among the rewards are the Smuggler’s Vanity Set, a Smuggler’s Cape that reduces potion cooldowns, and exclusive Smuggler’s Ring and Avatar items.
A new feature, Kill Trophies, will be introduced with the Rogue Frontier update. These trophies drop when you defeat another player, with the likelihood increasing based on the quality of loot your opponent carried.
Additionally, Rogue Frontier introduces new weapons to Albion Online. The Rotcaller Staff allows you to summon a mist-spewing entity that repels enemies, the Skystrider Bow enables levitation and aerial attacks, and the Forcepulse Bracers send shockwaves through foes during your dash.
Get ready for the Rogue Frontier update by downloading Albion Online from the Google Play Store and preparing for the exciting changes coming on February 3rd.
