They emphasized that the video does not represent the current state of the game, as the team consistently investigates reports of such utilities.
Despite Activision's assurances, some players argue that the company is not being truthful, pointing out that hackers are still using the utility. They presented a video as evidence, showing the program in action during a match on the Nuketown map, which was introduced to Black Ops 6 a week after its launch.
Black Ops 6 achieved significant commercial success, topping the sales charts in the United States last year, as reported by Circana analysts. This marks the 16th consecutive year that the Call of Duty franchise has held the top spot in the U.S. market. Meanwhile, EA Sports College Football 25, released on consoles in July, became the most played sports game in the country.

However, Circana attributes this drop to reduced demand for hardware, while expenditures on add-ons and services increased by 2% and 6%, respectively.
