Microsoft has officially announced the list of games set to leave the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight titles will be departing, including notable games such as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.
The Xbox Game Pass is a versatile gaming subscription service available for both Xbox and PC platforms. It allows users to stream games directly to smart devices and consoles, enjoy new releases on launch day depending on their membership tier, and access a vast library of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following titles are scheduled to be removed from the service:
**Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May:**- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
- Chants of Sennaar
- Dune: Spice Wars
- Hauntii
- Jurassic World Evolution 2
- Little Kitty, Big City
- Planet of Lana
- The Big Con
Following their removal, Microsoft is expected to reveal Wave 2 of the May 2025 Xbox Game Pass lineup shortly thereafter.
In related news, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members recently gained a powerful new feature: cloud streaming directly to Xbox consoles, eliminating the need for downloads. This enhancement was detailed in an official Xbox Wire post, which stated that Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog—as well as select owned titles—on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. Previously, this functionality was limited to PCs, smartphones, smart TVs, and Meta Quest headsets, making this the first time it’s available natively on Xbox hardware.
Meanwhile, fans disappointed by the recent delay of Grand Theft Auto VI to May 2026 may find comfort in revisiting GTA V. Fortunately, GTA V Enhanced Edition is now accessible via Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, marking its debut on the latter platform—a welcome addition for many players looking to relive the Los Santos experience.
