Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an upcoming collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed. Now, they've unveiled more exciting details about this much-anticipated crossover, which will feature Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character. Partnering with Ubisoft, the event will highlight two beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. A teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rain-soaked street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The comprehensive plan for the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration is now public, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, the crossover promises a wealth of content for players to enjoy.
The event is structured into two phases, each featuring its own unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate 15th-century Italy, deciphering mysterious clues. Phase II shifts the setting to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize familiar events as Vertin and her crew become entangled in the story.
It’s a Special Crossover
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all servers worldwide will be synchronized. This ensures that players everywhere gain access to the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a peculiar phenomenon called The Storm. After these storms strike, entire eras seem to vanish. Vertin, accompanied by her partner Sonetto, journeys through various timelines to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
