What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series adapted from Haruichi Furudate's youth sports manga, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. The story is set in the world of high school volleyball.
The narrative follows Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they strive to reclaim their glory and reach the "top." The series revolves around the passionate volleyball enthusiast, Shoyo Hinata, and a cast of distinctive characters who bring this fiery youth volleyball tale to life.
In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical version would continue the story beyond the anime.
