Lawnchair utilizes the AccessibilityService permission to optionally enhance the accessibility of certain system functions, such as desktop gestures for turning off the screen. The app will prompt you to enable this feature if it's necessary for your chosen configuration, though it's not required for many users. Rest assured, no data is collected through the AccessibilityService; it's solely used to execute system actions.
Additionally, Lawnchair employs the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen upon detecting a specific gesture. This feature is optional and disabled by default, ensuring user control over their device's functionality.
