When you embark on any activity, whether it's a local hike, an afternoon of skiing, or a global adventure, Hibou allows you to check-in effortlessly. By utilizing advanced GPS technology and customizable timers, you can enjoy your favorite activities without worry. Just activate the activity button in the app, set your timer for up to 24 hours, and dive into your adventure. Once you're safely back, simply end the timer. If you're running late, extending the timer is as easy as a button press.

In the event of an emergency where you're unable to seek help on your own, Hibou steps in. If your timer runs out without your return, your pre-set contacts will receive a notification with your last known location, ensuring help is dispatched promptly.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check, providing reassurance to your family. At scheduled times, you'll report your status via the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a check-in, you'll receive reminders through notifications, emails, or calls. After a grace period and further reminders, your circle will be alerted if you still haven't reported.

For immediate assistance, Hibou's help button sends your GPS location to your contacts instantly. While calling 911 is crucial in emergencies, sometimes alerting your family and friends is the most appropriate action.
