The emmy app is your gateway to scooter joy. Use it to locate a nearby electric moped, reserve it, and unlock it with ease. We handle the charging, ensuring your e-scooter is always ready to ride. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets in different sizes and a mobile phone holder, making your journey around the city convenient and safe.
Setting up your emmy account is a breeze:
- Download the emmy app and register for just €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes of riding.
- Sign up and verify your EU driver's license. Once approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.
- Ride: Use the app to find and reserve a moped near you at no extra cost.
- End your rental by parking the emmy moped in a public parking lot within our designated business area.
How do you start an emmy electric moped?
- Open the helmet box: Press the red button and take a helmet from the box.
- Get it off the kickstand: Stand with the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
- Switch it on: Flip the red switch on the right handlebar to “ON” and ensure the side stand is fully retracted. For Yadea models, press the “P-button”.
- Start the engine: Simultaneously pull the moped brake and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar to start.

How much does it cost to rent an emmy moped?
Register for a one-time fee of €4.95 and enjoy 15 free minutes on your first trip (valid for 3 months). Booking and reserving a moped is free for 15 minutes. Unlocking costs €1, and you'll be charged €0.33 per minute of riding. You can pause your ride at a reduced rate if needed.
