Cornhole, also known by many names such as sack toss, bean bag toss, bags, or even dadhole, is a fun and engaging lawn game enjoyed across North America. The gameplay is simple yet highly entertaining—players or teams take turns throwing fabric bean bags at a sloped board with a hole in one end. The objective? Score points by landing bags on the board (1 point) or tossing them through the hole (3 points). At the end of the round, the player or team with the highest score wins!
How Many Bean Bags Can You Throw in a Row?
In a standard game of Cornhole, each player throws four bean bags per round. If you're playing solo or against an opponent, you'll throw all four of your sacks before your opponent does the same. So technically, you can throw up to four bean bags in a row during your turn. Once both players or teams have thrown all their sacks, the round concludes and scoring begins.
How to Play Cornhole
- Each round consists of 8 total throws—4 from each player or team.
- To play, simply click and drag your bean sack to set the power and angle of your throw.
- You have 4 sacks to use strategically. Use them wisely to maximize your score.
- Landing a sack on the board gives you 1 point, while getting it through the hole earns you 3 points.
- The game ends after all 8 sacks are thrown, and the player with the higher score wins the round.
