Dive into the classic and captivating world of Tri Peaks, also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, a solitaire card game that challenges you to conquer three peaks formed by a standard deck of cards. The aim is clear: dismantle these peaks to emerge victorious!
At the outset, you'll find eighteen cards laid out face-down on the tableau, meticulously arranged into three overlapping pyramids, each consisting of three tiers. Topping these pyramids are ten cards dealt face-up, setting the stage for your strategic moves. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stockpile, with the first card from this stock becoming the initial card in your waste pile.
Your mission is to transfer cards from the tableau to the waste pile, but there's a catch—they must be either one rank higher or lower than the top card on the waste pile, regardless of suit. Imagine a sequence like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8; as you progress, any face-down cards that are no longer covered will be revealed, unveiling new opportunities to clear the peaks. The game continues until you can't make any more moves, aiming to remove all cards from the tableau.
