City Football Manager: Become the Champion of Your City! (Multiplayer)
City Football Manager (CFM) is currently in an exciting phase of development, with new features, improvements, and designs being added every month. This multiplayer football manager game lets you take the helm of your city's football team and compete against teams managed by other players or bots.
Gameplay and Structure
In CFM, matches are simulated automatically on a server according to a schedule. The game engine takes into account your team's strategy and the individual qualities of your players (over 40 attributes each!) to determine the outcome of each match.
As a manager, you can be among the first to lead your city's team to glory. The game currently features 32 countries, including England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Czechia, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, Uruguay, and the USA.
Each country's championship is divided into four divisions. At the end of the season, the top three teams from Divisions 2, 3, and 4 are promoted, while the bottom three teams from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 are relegated. Additionally, each country hosts a national cup tournament, played on a knockout basis, in which all teams participate.
International Tournaments
The best teams from each country can compete in two prestigious international tournaments:
- Cup of Cups: Open to the finalists of each country's national cup.
- Cup of Champions: The most coveted trophy in CFM, reserved for the top two teams from each country's top division.
Team Management
As a manager, you start with a squad of 19 players, with 11 selected to play by default. You can adjust their positions and choose different players for each match. Winning games and cups attracts more fans, increasing ticket sales and allowing you to upgrade your stadium to accommodate more supporters and boost your team's income.
In the "Transfers" section, you can buy and sell players, coaches, scouts, and physios. If you're focused on nurturing young talent, you can build and upgrade an academy that produces two promising young players at the end of each season.
Training and Fitness
Facilities like fitness centers, training grounds, and a theory center enhance player workouts, while a physio center aids in quicker recovery. In the training section, you can assign players to specific training sessions, selecting training types with the help of a coach. Higher-level coaches are more effective, leading to faster skill development for your players. However, be mindful of overtraining, which can result in exhaustion, injuries, and poor performance. A skilled physio and a well-equipped physio center are crucial for rapid player recovery.
