Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a chilling Halloween event, adding to its ongoing 10th-anniversary celebration. This spooky update introduces new playable characters and challenging events, ensuring players return to the Battlerealm.
A Halloween Event Unlike Any Other
The update features Scream and Jack O’ Lantern, two terrifying new champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his sinister ability to transform victims into jack-o'-lanterns, are set to make the House of Horrors event particularly thrilling. Players will join Jessica Jones to investigate a dark mystery leading to a nightmarish carnival.
Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt, a gladiator-style side quest, offers weekly challenges with branching paths. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
Celebrating a Decade of Combat
This Halloween event coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is commemorating this milestone with ten significant game reveals. Medusa and Purgatory have already received updates.
The Deadpool-themed Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza includes an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st to November 15th), is also part of the anniversary celebration. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently underway, concluding on October 30th, and boasts new features focused on buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is coming soon: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching on November 4th, will dramatically improve the game's smoothness. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
