The game features multiple levels designed to be conquered by taking down the boars that appear on your screen.
Your score increases as you sweep across and eliminate wild boars; the first kill counts as one point, the second as two, and the third as three. If you manage five consecutive kills, you will earn 15 points before the counter resets when the screen is cleared.
You begin each level with a bolt-action rifle that automatically reloads in your inventory after firing. However, you must wait for the action to cycle before repeating your shot. To load more bullets into the magazine, click on the same icon while it flashes on-screen.
By scoring at least 40 points, you can unlock an automatic repeating rifle by clicking on a flashing target that appears on screen. This upgrade costs five points.
The maximum number of allowed failures is seven in Level 1, decreasing to four by Level 6. You can earn extra lives during gameplay.
In Level 6, if you eliminate five boars in a row without any misses (earning 15 points), you will remove one failure from your count. Note that some boars do not fall on the first shot; you must fire again, which counts as two shots but only adds one point to your score.
In Level 7, if you reach 100 points, you can purchase an extra magazine containing six bullets for five points. If you then eliminate the next six wild boars on screen, you will earn 22 points and remove one failure from your count.
For subsequent levels, to achieve maximum consecutive scores and gain extra lives, you must shoot growing series of boars. These sequences begin with each cleared wave of dead pigs.
Keep in mind that you can take down all the boars appearing on screen, even with a bolt-action rifle; you just need to time your shots correctly.
