ALIAS FOOTBALL is an exciting party game where opposing teams race against time to identify as many football “names” (including players, clubs, and managers) as possible.
Alias Football requires at least two teams of two or more players each. One player from every team acts as the describer for a card showing several hidden names. Their teammates must guess these names before the timer expires. Descriptions can include facts, clues, or details but cannot contain the name itself. Each correct identification earns one point. The first team to reach the target score wins the match.
GAME OPTIONS
Modes
Customize your experience by selecting one of two modes in Game Settings:
• Classic Mode Each card features five hidden names. To advance to the next card, you must successfully guess all names on the current card.
• Arcade Mode Cards contain only a single name per round. You can either guess the correct answer or skip it for a cost of one point. This mode allows faster progression through cards.
Score and Time
Tailor the difficulty by adjusting the winning Score and Round Duration (Time) in Game Settings:
- Winning Score: The total points needed to claim victory.
- Time: The number of seconds allocated per round.
Pack Selection
Choose from various themed collections (“packs”) containing specific groups of players, managers, or clubs. By default, the Standard Pack features well-known football figures. Some packs offer specialized filters (players only vs. including managers/clubs) and difficulty levels such as “Easy” and “Hard.”
Teams
Configure your match setup by selecting between two teams or adding more participants. You can also customize each team’s name for a personalized experience.
Kick-off
Tap “Kick off” to begin the round. During gameplay, track your current points and remaining time. After each round concludes, view the updated scoreboard before proceeding.
